Swiss German Weekly is a subscription‑based service providing weekly Swiss German flashcards and short language lessons via email. Our registered address is Bahnhofstrasse 10, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland.

2. What You Can Expect

Monthly Subscription (CHF 5 / month)

• Receive 20 flashcards each week by email
• A short weekly text in Swiss German, Standard German and English
• Printable PDF (optional where available)
• Cancel anytime
• Delivered every Monday at 7:00 AM (Swiss time)

Yearly Subscription (10% discount)

• Same benefits as Monthly
• Billed once per year at the discounted rate

You can cancel either subscription at any time via your account or by contacting support. Continued access is provided until the end of the billing period.

3. Payment and Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

All fees are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF). You are responsible for any taxes that may apply.

4. Privacy & Data Processing (Swiss law)

We collect:

• Email address (to send lessons and communicate with you)
• Interaction data for service delivery and improvement

How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used to:

• Send weekly lessons
• Deliver transactional emails (billing, receipts)

• Stripe — payment processing
• MailerLite — email delivery and list management

Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect your data in accordance with Swiss data protection standards. However, no system is completely secure.

5. Subscription Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Due to the digital nature of our service, refunds after payment are generally not provided, except where required by law.

We strive to deliver high‑quality content. However, Swiss German Weekly is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or any consequential damages related to the use of our service. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you over the past 12 months.

7. Modifications

We may update these terms and our privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Swiss courts.
